Dr Daniel O’Hara BSc (Hons) MSc DClinPsy PgDip PgCert

Daniel is a Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist and HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist based in Leeds, Yorkshire. He is a Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist in the NHS and during his career has worked in regional specialist neurosciences centres, community neuropsychology teams and dementia services. He has experience of leading neuropsychology services and research groups.

He completed doctoral training as a Clinical Psychologist in 2007. Following further training, he attained specialist qualifications in Clinical Neuropsychology from the universities of Glasgow and Bristol. He is on the British Psychological Society Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists.

Daniel is committed to professional development and has undertaken training in psychotherapy to enhance his practice. He previously worked in Organisational Psychology within the Police Service.

Daniel is involved in clinical research and his practice is informed by the latest scientific research findings.

Daniel is a warm, compassionate and interested clinician who aims to understand and treat people’s difficulties within a person-centred, holistic approach.

He is able to creatively use a range of therapeutic models and frameworks to suit the person and the problem.

Daniel is offering in-person and video-based appointments depending on people’s needs and preferences. He uses rooms in North-West Leeds that are comfortable, and easily accessible.
